This week I have another update for my animation's pencil tests: this time with new scenes completed as well as the changes that my lecturer suggested. Here it is:
This pencil test was my first test at implementing the 2D sketches and 3D assets together. I did this by creating an image plane for my cameras in Maya, and then imported the frames from my pencil tests to play as an animation. I then took my 3D rigs and animated them on top of the character's limbs. Doing this ensures that the poses and positions that I am animating lines up perfectly with my pencil tests, and my lineart, later on.

Once I was done with blocking out all of the poses, I rendered the assets using Redshift and imported them into my Krita file from there, I went through my frames which had the pencil tests of the arm and eye and erased each portion of the sketch. I also went through the 3D frames and adjusted them as needed.
